Sgt. spoke with RP and gave her <br />information and resources about the property owner to follow <br />up with. <br />2/7/18 3/2/18 25 Policy RP was unhappy that officers would not <br />respond when she and her daughter <br />called about finding drugs in her <br />grandson's room. <br />Sgt. found a police report documenting actions in this incident in <br />which an officer responded and collected the substance, and <br />wrote a report. RP did not respond to the Sergeant's calls. <br />2/10/18 2/22/18 12 Incident Review: <br />Conduct <br />Internal review of an employee's posting <br />on social media. <br />Supervisor spoke with employee with a reminder of appropriate <br />social media posts. <br />2/9/18 3/5/18 26 Inquiry RP requested a listing on the online call <br />log not identify the work place that <br />called in about gun shots but rather the <br />address the shots came from. <br />Supervisor reviewed the call and the listing and believes that a <br />data entry error was made and that the call log needed to be <br />corrected as per the request of RP. Supervisor made and <br />documented the change and contacted RP. <br />2/9/18 3/15/18 36 Inquiry RP reported that a school resource <br />officers trespassed him from the school <br />when he tried to find out about his son's <br />grades. <br />Sgt. found that RP is not the custodial parent of the children and <br />because of the disruption RP was causing on the school grounds <br />the officer was instructed by school personnel to trespass RP. <br />2/12/18 3/19/18 37 Performance RP complained of becoming over heated <br />in the back of a patrol car at the jail, and <br />felt the officer asked a bunch of stupid <br />questions before he rolled the window <br />down. <br />Sgt reviewed body cam of the officer and found that the officer <br />was at first outside of the vehicle when asked about the window, <br />within 2 minutes the officer entered the vehicle and rolled down <br />the window. It was 43 degrees. Sgt. spoke with RP about his <br />findings. <br />2/12/18 2/20/18 8 Inquiry RPs felt harassed by an officer who gave <br />them an exclusion from the city streets <br />with their camper. <br />Sgt. learned that the vehicle in question was an unlicensed trailer <br />that had been given 2 previous warnings as well as information <br />about community services. <br />2/12/18 2/13/18 1 Inquiry <br />Dismissed: <br />Outside <br />Jurisdiction <br />RP reported an officer who he felt was <br />rude and used excessive force to detain <br />him. <br />Dismissed: Outside Jurisdiction <br />June 19, 2019, Work Session – Item 2
