It was towed as a hazardous vehicle. All police <br />reports, bodycams, in-car video, impound forms showed no <br />policy violation. <br />2/15/18 3/6/18 21 Courtesy RP reported that when trying to report a <br />dead animal the call taker was rude. <br />Supervisor reviewed the call, and though the call taker handled <br />the call correctly more time should have been taken with the <br />caller, who had a language barrier. Supervisor spoke with the call <br />taker. RP was anonymous. <br />2/15/18 2/22/18 7 Incident Review: <br />Conduct <br />RP reported an issue with a civil <br />transaction he had conducted with an <br />EPD employee. <br />Supervisor reviewed: Civil issue <br />2/16/18 3/26/18 40 Service Level RP inquired into what information is <br />provided to outside agencies when <br />sharing stolen vehicle information. <br />RP did not return calls from the Sgt. to address his questions, <br />information was left on voicemail. <br />2/18/18 2/22/18 4 Inquiry RP alleged he was only given a trespass <br />citation because of his race. <br />Sgt. review found that RP did not appear to be racially profiled; <br />two others were also cited who were not African American. Sgt. <br />spoke with RP about the citation. <br />2/18/18 2/21/18 3 Inquiry <br />Dismissed: <br />Timeliness <br />RP reported an incident from 2016 in <br />which he felt he was not treated fairly by <br />EPD. <br />Dismissed: Timeliness <br />2/20/18 2/28/18 8 Performance RP reported a patrol vehicle that did not <br />signal a turn. <br />Officer was advised of the importance of following all traffic laws. <br />2/20/18 2/28/18 8 Performance An anonymous RP reported an officer <br />who RP felt was distracted while driving. <br />Lt. notified the officer of the complaint. <br />June 19, 2019, Work Session – Item 2
