They were beaten, hog tied <br />and taken to jail. <br />Sgt. reviewed police reports, body cams and found that Officers <br />had probable cause to arrest RP's boyfriend due to a dispute at a <br />local eatery. The boyfriend refused to stop for officers, RP <br />physically inserted herself between officers and at one point hit <br />an officer. Other then the initial take down no force was used, <br />feet restraints were applied due to the couple kicking officers. <br />No policy violations were found. <br />3/16/18 3/21/18 5 Courtesy <br />Dismissed: <br />Other <br />RP reported an officer who was snooty <br />with her and grabbed her behind when <br />she walked passed. <br />Dismissed: Other Auditor review of body cam of <br />RP's interaction found the allegations made to be false. <br />Dismissed by Auditor <br />3/20/18 5/11/18 51 Policy RP was concerned about the armed <br />robberies in the area and wanted to <br />know what police were doing to keep <br />people safe. <br />Lt. spoke with RP about his concerns and the noted the increased <br />patrols added to the area. <br />3/20/18 3/21/18 1 Courtesy <br />Dismissed: <br />Other <br />RP was upset to learn that community <br />court required officers to report contacts <br />with police to them. <br />Dismissed: Other No policy violation <br />3/20/18 4/23/18 33 Courtesy RP was unhappy with an interaction with <br />an officer at the Eugene Airport. <br />Sgt. reviewed body cam of the interaction and found that the <br />officer was requested to escort RP from the TSA area by agents, <br />and had to advise RP that if her behavior continued she could be <br />trespassed from the Eugene Airport. No policy violations were <br />noted. <br />3/21/18 4/5/18 14 Courtesy RP was unhappy with comments made <br />by and officer issuing him a citation. Rp <br />felt his character was assaulted. <br />Sgt. spoke with the officer involved who admitted he was a little <br />gruff with RP due to the considerable distance RP drove before <br />pulling over. He did not feel he had made any comments that <br />would have offended RP. Sgt. spoke with RP about the incident <br />and offered to talk with the officer about his perception of the <br />incident. <br />3/21/18 4/4/18 13 Courtesy RP reported an officer who was rude and <br />disrespectful, practically yelling at her <br />during a traffic stop. <br />Sgt. reviewed that body cam and found that the officer did not <br />violate any EPD policies.
