Subsection ~6} of Section 9.538 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is <br />amended to provide <br />9.538 General Yard Regull~ations. <br />I~Illlll gull 1 - - i iliil <br />~6} Vision clearance re uired. <br />~a} lots in all districts shall have vision clearance areas <br />on all street corners and at each point where bicycle and pedestrian <br />travel intersect with vehicular traffic or with each other. Each <br />leg of the vision clearance area shall be a minimum of 15 feet in <br />length. See Figure~9} <br />fib} vision clearance areas shat 1 be kept free of all visual <br />obstructions from two and one-half feet to nine feet above the curb <br />line. Where curbs are absent, the craven of adjacent streets shall <br />be used as the point of reference. <br />~ c } Vision clearance requirements may be waived by the city <br />manager or designee, ~f the city manager or designee finds: <br />1. Traffic can safely approach and enter the <br />. intersection ar street given existing traffic control devices <br />or other physical cand i t i ons of the area; or <br />2 . Tapagraph i c conditions are sv extreme or building <br />structures ex~ st such that ~ t ~ s not practical to provide <br />required vision clearance. <br />Section 23 .
