street frontages and shall be limited to no more than the following <br />amounts for each street frontage: <br />~ 1 } One wall sign per dwel 1 i ng unit used as a s i ngl e <br />family dwelling, <br />~2} One freestanding, wall or awning sign for each <br />development site used for multiple family dwellings. <br />~3} One permanent subdivision or planned unit level op- <br />ment sign for each development site used or planned as a sub- <br />d i v i s i on or planned unit level opment . <br />~4} One temporary subdivision sign or planned unit devel- <br />opment sign for each development site planned or used as a sub- <br />di vi si an ar planned unit development. Such temporary sign must <br />be constructed i n connection with the offer for sale of any <br />parcel or unit and may remain in place for one year, subject to <br />renewal for no more than one addi ti anal year at a time where <br />parcels or units remain unsold . <br />~5} One freestanding, wall, or awning sign for each <br />development site used for non-residential purposes. <br />~d} Maximum sign area. In addition to all other standards, <br />signs in the residential sign district shall be subject to the <br />following size iimitatians: <br />~ 1 } Freestanding signs <br />a. 1 ocated on property used for multiple fami 1y <br />residences shall be no more than 12 square feet far one <br />face and 24 square feet for two or more faces. <br />b. 1 ocated on non-residentially used property ar <br />classified as a permanent subdivision or planned unit <br />level opment sign shat 1 be no more than 32 square feet <br />for one face and 64 square feet for twa or more faces. <br />c . classified as temporary subdivision or planned <br />unit development sales signs shall be no more than 64 <br />square feet i n area for ane or more faces . <br />~ 2 } Wall and awning sign s <br />a, 1 ocated on property used for si ng1 a family <br />dwei 1 i ngs shall be no more than 1-1/2 square feet i n area. <br />b. 1 ocated an property used far multiple fami 1y <br />dwellings shat i be no mare than 12 square feet i n area. <br />c. located on property used for non-residential pur- <br />poses shall be no more than 32 square feet in area for one <br />ar more faces , <br />d. classified as a permanent subdivision or planned <br />unit development sign shall be no more than 32 square feet <br />for one face and 64 square feet for two or more faces. <br />e, ci ass i f i ed as a temporary subdi vi s i an or pi anned <br />unit development sign shall be no more than 64 square feet <br />for one or more surfaces. <br />~c} Maximum height.
