<br /> <br />4) The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art - an outstanding visual arts venue <br /> <br />The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art on the University of Oregon campus is a beautiful historic <br />venue that offers access to the important Murray Wanter Collection of Oriental Art and as well as <br />leading edge exhibitions for all ages. The museum was established in 1933 to display the Murray <br />Wanter Collection bequeathed in 1921 by his wife. With a gift from Jordan Schnitzer, the venue <br />was expanded and the collection updated. In 2005 the museum re-opened following a significant <br />expansion and modernization project.
