other requirement of this chapter, each licensee shall: <br />~a} Conform to all federal, state, and local laws and regu- <br />lations, the provisions of this code, and any rules adapted there- <br />under. <br />fib} Notify the city within 1D days of any change in material <br />information contained in the application, related materials, or <br />license. <br />3.042 Business Licenses - Com faints. <br />~I} Any person having a complaint regarding the services perform- <br />ed by a licensee shall file the complaint in writing with the city, <br />~2} The city shall respond to the complaint and take appropriate <br />action within a reasonable period of time. <br />3.045 Business Licenses - Abatement of ~i of ati ons . <br />~I} Upon finding that a violation of this code, or applicable <br />city, county, state or federal laws has occurred, the city may provide writ- <br />ten notice to the licensee of the violation and demand that the violation be <br />corrected within a reasonable time as specified in the notice. The notice <br />shall describe with reasonable certainty the violation and the action neces- <br />sary to correct the violation. <br />~2} In the event of a notice under subsection ~1} of this section: <br />~a} The licensee shall notify the city when corrective <br />action has been taken, and the city may then cause an inspection <br />to be made to determine compliance. <br />fib} If the licensee fails to take corrective action within <br />the time required, the city may take action under section 3.D50 <br />of this code to revoke the license. <br />3. D5D Business Licenses ~- Denial or Revocation of License. <br />~~} The city may deny or revoke a license upon finding that: <br />~a} The licensee fails to meet the requirements of this code, <br />or is doing business in violation of this code ar applicable fed- <br />eral, state or county law, ordinance, rule or regulation; <br />fib} The applicant has provided false or misleading material <br />information, or has omitted disclosure of a material fact on the <br />application, related materials, or license; <br />~c} The applicant's past or present violation of law or ordi- <br />nance, including a violation that does not lead to a conviction, <br />presents a reasonable doubt about his/her ability to perform the <br />licensed activity without endangering property or the public health <br />and safety. <br />~d} The information supplied for the review does not indi- <br />cate that the applicant has the special knowledge or skill required <br />to perform the licensed activity. <br />(e} The licensed activity or device would endanger property <br />or the public health or safety. <br />~2} The city shall provide written notice to the applicant of a <br />denial yr revocation. The notice shall state the reason for denial or revo- <br />cation and shall inform the applicant of the right to appeal under section <br />3.06D of this code, <br />Ordinance - 20 <br />
