issued by the licensing authority designating a person in
<br />charge of all or a specific portion of a private club,
<br />private business or place of public accommodation authorizing
<br />the person in charge to permit upon the designated premises
<br />the playing of social games.
<br />Private business. Any commercial establishment
<br />privately awned and lawfully present in zones as designated
<br />by the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the city.
<br />Private club. Any association or group of individuals
<br />organized under DRS Chapter 61 or similar corresponding
<br />provisions of any other state law.
<br />Social ames. Games of poker and gin rummy, and such
<br />other games as may be authorized by the licensing authority,
<br />when played by the rules promulgated by the licensing
<br />authority, shall constitute the only social games authorized
<br />or permitted under this Cade.
<br />Somethin of value. Any money ar property, any service
<br />or promise to perform a service, any token, object or
<br />article exchangeable for money or property, or any form of
<br />credit or promise directly or indirectly contemplating
<br />transfer of money or property or of any interest therein.
<br />lager or ,b,et. To stake or risk, ar the staking or
<br />risking, o~f something of value upon the outcome of any
<br />social game,
<br />Game table ,other than gambling. A pool table, billiard
<br />table, ar other similar structure accessible to members of the
<br />public or to members of a private club.
<br />Merchant Police:
<br />Merchant olive a envy. An individual, corporation, associ-
<br />ation, firm, or partnership engaged in the business of watching,
<br />guarding, or protecting premises, property or persons, and who
<br />employs one or more Class I, Glass TT or Class TTT merchant police,
<br />except an on-premise agency.
<br />Merchant„police I. An individual engaged in the occupation
<br />of watching, guarding or protecting premises, property or
<br />persons, whether he or she is self-employed, employed by a
<br />merchant police agency, or employed by an on-premise agency, who
<br />carries or has firearms in his or her possession while so employed.
<br />Merchant olive TT. An individual engaged in the occupation
<br />of watching, guarding, or protecting premises, property or persons
<br />who does .not carry or have firearms in his or her possession
<br />while so employed, except an on-premise agency employe.
<br />Merchant olive TII. An individual engaged in the temporary
<br />occupation of watching, guarding or protecting premises, property
<br />ar persons, who does not have firearms, batons, night sticks,
<br />chemical spray or any device for the purpose of subduing or physi~
<br />tally restraining any individual, and who does not work from a
<br />vehicle on public roads while so employed. Temporary work sha11
<br />not exceed seven days i n any thirty day period.
