required to so notify the City at least 60 days prior to implemen- <br />Cation of the service. <br />The Council has considered the Board's recommendations and <br />finds that the proposed minimum collection rate takes into consid- <br />eration the current schedule of rates charged by Lane Count ; <br />Y <br />takes into account the expressed concerns and proposals of the <br />local refuse collectors; is just, fair and reasonable in light of <br />the interests of the public and collectors; and should be a roved <br />pP <br />and established. <br />Now, therefore, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Based upon the above findings, which are hereb <br />Y <br />adapted, and pursuant to the authority of Section 3.275 of the <br />Eugene Code, 1971, the following minimum refuse collection rates <br />are hereby approved and established: <br />CITY OF EUGENE <br />MINIMUM REFUSE COLLECTION RATES <br />I NON-MECHANIZED 32-GALLON CAN BASE RATE - MONTHLY <br />A. Not Within a Mobile Home Park Condominium or A artment <br />~omple,x: <br />1. Single, 32-gallon can, once a week ....$ 5.54 <br />2. Each addition 32-gallon can, once <br />a week, 60% of single can rate ........ 3.30 <br />3. For removal down or upstairs, through <br />a narrow corridor, or from an attic, <br />basement, or other place posing extra- <br />ordinary difficulties, a surcharge of <br />not more than 50~ of the applicable <br />charge in 1 or 2 above. <br />B.
