safety to terminate storage, dispensing, handling or use of hazardous mater- <br />~als at least thirty X30} days prior to facility closure. The plan shall <br />demonstrate that hazardous materials which were stored, dispensed, handled <br />or used in the facility have been transported, disposed of or reused in a <br />manner that eliminates the need for further maintenance and any threat to <br />public health and safety. Such plan shall be submitted in accordance with <br />Section 80.103~b}. <br />Section 80.108 - Hazardous Materials, Out of Service Facilities. <br />Facilities may be.placed out of service in accordance with the following: <br />1. Tem oraril Out of Service Facilities. Facilities which <br />are temporarily out of service shall continue to be permitted, <br />monitored and inspected. <br />2. Permanentl Out of Service Facilities. Facilities for <br />which a permit is not kept current ar is not monitored and inspected <br />vn a regular basis shall be deemed to be permanently out of service <br />and shall be closed in accordance with Section 80.101. <br />See also Section 80.103~b}.} <br />Division II <br />Classification by Hazard <br />Section 80.201 - Hazardous Materials, Sco e. For the purpose of <br />this code, hazardous materials shall be divided into hazard categories. The <br />categories include materials regulated under this article and materials regu- <br />lated elsewhere in this code. <br />Section 80.242 - Hazardous Materials, Hazard Cate ories. <br />~a} Phial Hazards. The materials listed in this section <br />are classified as physical hazards . A materi al with a pri mary <br />classification as a physical hazard may also present a health <br />hazard. <br />1. Explosives and Blasting Agents.* <br />2. Co~essed Gases.** <br />3. Flammable and Combustible Liauids.* <br />4. Fl ammab1 a Solids . <br />5. Oxidizers. <br />fi. Or anic Peroxides. <br />1.
