4. Piping and Controls. In addition to the requirements <br />of Section 80.301~c}, piping and controls on stationary tanks <br />shall be in accordance with the following: <br />A. Pressure relief devices shall be vented to a <br />treatment system designed in accordance with the provi- <br />sions of Section 80.303~a}fi.D. <br />B. Where filling or dispensing connections are pro- <br />vided, they shall be provided with a means of local <br />exhaust. Such exhaust shall be designed to capture fumes <br />and vapors. The exhaust shall be directed to a treatment <br />system designed in accordance with the provisions of Sec- <br />tion 80.303~a}6.D. <br />C. Stationary tanks shall be provided with a means <br />of excess flow control on al 1 tank i n1 et ar autl et con- <br />nections. <br />EXCEPTIONS: <br />I. Inlet connections that are designed to pre- <br />cl ude backfl ow. <br />2. Pressure relief devices. <br />5. Sill Control, Drains a and Containment, Spill can- <br />tro1, drainage and containment shall not be required for the <br />exterior storage of highly toxic compressed gases. <br />~c} Special Provisions. <br />1. SeismicProtection. Stationary tanks and associated <br />piping systems shall be seismically braced in accordance with <br />the provisions of the Structural Specialty Code. <br />2. Securit . Storage areas shall be secured against <br />unauthorized entry. <br />3. Gas Cabinets far Leakin C finders. At least one gas <br />cabinet or exhausted enclosure shall be provided far the hand- <br />ling of leaking cylinders. The cabinet or enclosure shall be <br />located as follows: <br />A. Within or adjacent to exterior storage areas. <br />B. Within separate gas storage rooms used for <br />cylinders. <br />The cabinet or enclosure shall be connected to a treatment <br />system as specified in Section 80.303~a}fi.D. <br />EXCEPTION: A cabinet or enclosure is not required to <br />be provided for leaking cylinders if all cylinders are <br />stared within gas cabinets ar exhausted enclosures. <br />4. Local Exhaust far Leakin Portable Tanks. A means <br />of local exhaust shall be provided to capture leaks from port- <br />able tanks. The local exhaust may consist of portable ducts <br />or collection systems designed to be applied to the site of a <br />1 eak i n a vat ve or fitting on the tank. The l oval exhaust <br />system shall be connected to a treatment system as specified <br />in Section $0.3o3~a}fi.D. The local exhaust system shall be <br />provided: <br />A. Within or immediately adjacent to exterior stor- <br />age areas. <br />B. Within separate gas storage rooms used for port- <br />able or stationary tanks. <br />5.
