liquid-tight construction. <br />6. Insulated Roof. Roofs of detached storage buildings <br />shall be of light-weight construction and suitably insulated. <br />1. Smoke and Heat Ventin . Storage areas shall be pro- <br />vided with a means to vent smoke and heat in afire or other <br />emergency in accordance with the provisions of the Building <br />Code. <br />8. Ex losion Ventin or Su cession. Explosion venting <br />or suppression shall not be required for storage areas for <br />Class II, III, IV and V organic peroxides. <br />9. Containment. Secondary containment shall be provided <br />in accordance with the provisions of Section 80.30I~1~4. <br />10. Stands Power. Standby power shall not be required <br />for the storage of Class III, IV yr W organic peroxides. <br />11. Electrical Wirin and E ui ment. In addition to the <br />requirements of Section 80.30I~r}, electrical wiring and equip- <br />ment in starage areas for Class I or II organic peroxides shall <br />comply with the requirements for Class I, Division ~ 1ocations. <br />I~. Limit Controls. Liquid level limit controls shall <br />not be required for atmospheric tanks used for storage of <br />Class II, III, IV or V organic peroxides. <br />I3. Detection. An approved supervised smoke detection <br />system shall be provided in rooms or areas where Cass I or II <br />organic peroxides are stored, and where Class III or IV organic <br />peroxides are stored in quantities exceeding the exempt amounts <br />specified in Table 80.307-A. Activation of the detection <br />system shall sound a local alarm. <br />EXCEPTION: A smoke detection system shall not be required <br />in detached storage buildings provided with an automatic <br />fire extinguishing system. <br />14. Stora a Conditions. <br />A. Only closed containers and packages shall be <br />permitted in storage areas. <br />ii. Bulk storage in piles and bins shall not be <br />permitted. <br />iii.
