General. Exterior storage of organic peroxides shall be in accordance with this subsection and the general provi- sions specified in Section 80.301. EXCEPTION: Unclassified detonatable arganic peroxides that are capable of detonation in their normal shipping containers under fire conditions shall be stored in accordance with the requirements of Article 17 for high explosives. 2. Distance from Stora e to Ex osures. Storage areas for organic peroxides shall be located in accordance with Tables 80.307-C and 80.301-D. 3. Fire Extin uishin S stem. Automatic fire sprinkler system protection shall be provided when required for weight or distance by Tables 80.307-C and 80.307-D. 4. Electrical Wirin and E ui ment. In addition to the requirements of Section 80.301~r~, electrical wiring and equip- ment in exterior storage areas containing Class I, II or III organic peroxides shall comply with the requirements for Class I, Division 2 locations. 5. Limit Controls. Liquid level limit controls shall not be required for atmospheric tanks used for the storage of Class II, III, Iv or v arganic peroxides. 6. Stvra a Conditions. A. Maximum Quantities. Maximum quantities of organic peroxides shall be as specified in Tables 80.301-C and 30.301-D. B. Storaq,e Arrangement. Storage arrangement shall be as specified in Tables 80.301-E, 80.307-F and 80.307-G. 1. Se aration. In addition to the provisions of Section 50.301~n~, storage areas for organic peroxides exceeding the amounts specified in Table 80.301-B shall be located a minimum distance of 50 feet from other hazardous material storage.
