in section 2.020 of the Eugene Code, 1971 for the inspection of each con- <br />tainer. The manner of inspection, requirement of corrections, satisfaction <br />of such requirements, and collection of fees due and payable shall be in con- <br />formity with the provisions of new installations. Liquefied petroleum gas <br />installation licensees shall furnish a list of the location of 10-year-old <br />installations which they service, upon request of the fire marshal. <br />Section 82.106 - Li uefied Petroleum Gas Corrections. <br />~a} When, upon inspection of any tank, the new installation <br />does not comply with the requirements of the fire marshal, the <br />fire marshal shall instruct the installer as to what corrections <br />are necessary far compliance with the requirements. The installer <br />of the new installation shall within the time set by the fire <br />marshal, which in no case shall be more than 60 days after notifi- <br />cation, natify the fire marshal that the new installation complies <br />with his requirements. If the installer so fails to notify the <br />fire marshal, or the fire marshal has reason to believe that the <br />corrections have not been made, the fire marshal shall reinspect <br />the new installation and collect from the installer an additional <br />fee as established by the city manager as provided in section 2.020 <br />of the Eugene Code, 1971. The installer shall not be held respon- <br />sible for the payment of this additianal fee resulting from the <br />actions of the user which require correctionm to achieve compli- <br />ance with the requirements. In that case the user shall pay the <br />additianal fee. <br />fib} No person, after notice from the fire marshal, shall <br />fail to correct any improper installation within the time set by <br />the fire marshal, which in no case shall be more than 60 days <br />after receiving such notice. <br />Section 82.107 - Li uefied Petroleum Gas, Del in vent Fees. If the <br />fees provided for in this section are due and payable but are not paid within <br />30 days after service of written notification by the fire marshal therefor, <br />or if the installer fails to natify the fire marshal by the tenth of the <br />month succeeding the month anew installation is made or a change is made <br />requiring an inspection, the fees shall be delinquent, and a penalty equal <br />to the amount of the fee i s hereby imposed for such delinquency. Al 1 fees <br />and penalties shall be collected by the fire marshal. <br />Section 82.108 - Li uefied Petroleum Gas, Licenses. <br />~a} No person shall engage in or work at the business of <br />installing, extending, altering, or repairing any liquefied petro- <br />leum gas appliance or piping, vent, or flue connection pertaining <br />to or in connection with liquefied petroleum gas installations <br />either as employer or individual, unless he has received a gas <br />installation license from the state fire marshal in accordance <br />with ORS 480.410 to 480.460 and is licensed as such by the city in <br />accordance with the Eugene Code, 1911. <br />~ b} No person shall do any l i quef i ed petroleum gas fitting <br />or gas venting work, install, repair or remodel any piping or <br />venting or any installation, repair, service, connection, or dis- <br />cannecti on of any 1 i quef i ed petroleum gas appliance which i s sub- <br />ject to inspection under ORS 480.410 to 480.460 unless he has <br />received a l i quef i ed petroleum gas fitter's ] i tense from the state <br />fire marshal in accordance with ORS 480.460 and is licensed as such <br />by the city in accordance with the Eugene Code, 1971. <br />Ordinance - 13 <br />
