Sectian 82.I09 - Li uefied Petroleum Gas, Bureau of Fire Prevention, <br />The Bureau of Fire Prevention shall inspect a number of liquefied gas <br />installations sufficient to determine whether the provisions of this article <br />are being complied with. <br />Section 82.IIa - Li uefied Petroleum Gas, Utilit Plants. <br />~a~ No new liquefied petroleum gas utility plant shall be <br />constructed within the limits established by law as limits of the <br />districts in which such plants are prohibited. <br />~b~ Na person shall maintain or operate a liquefied petroleum <br />gas utility plant without first obtaining from the city a permit <br />to do so. <br />Section 3. The following constitute Appendices II-E and VI-A as adopted <br />by Section 8.I90 of the Eugene Code, 197I, which are to be incorporated <br />therein immediately following Section 8.025: <br />APPENDIX II-E <br />HAZARDOUS MATERIALS MANAGEMENT PLAN <br />HAZARDOUS MATERIALS INVENTORY STATEMENT <br />I. INTENT. This Appendix contains requirements for Hazardous Materials <br />Inventory Statements ~HMIS~ and for Hazardous Materials Management Plans <br />~HMMP~ which may be required by the Chief pursuant to Article 80, Section <br />80.I03~d~ and 80.103~e~; The HMIs and HMMP shall be prepared by fire service <br />inspectors with the assistance and cooperation of the facility's owner, <br />manager, or other authorized representative. <br />II. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS INVENTORY STATEMENT (HMIs) REQUIREMENTS. <br />A. A separate HMIs shall be prepared for each building including its <br />appurtenant structures and each exterior facility in which hazardous materials <br />are stared. The HMIS shall list by hazard class all hazardous materials <br />stored. The HMIS shall include the following information for each hazardaus <br />material listed. <br />I. Generic chemical name. <br />2. Common/trade name. <br />3. Formula or major constituents. <br />4. UN United Nations}, NA North American}, or EPA Hazardous <br />Waste ID number. <br />5. Manufacturer's Safety Data Sheet or equivalent cif requested. <br />fi. Maximum quantity stored at any one time and average quantity <br />normally stored on the premises. <br />B. An amended HMIS shall be provided within thirty X30} days of the <br />storage of any hazardous material which changes or adds a hazard class or <br />Ordinance - 74 <br />
