18'421 <br />Bence by the council shall be removed by the council, and <br />another member shall be appointed by the council to complete <br />the unexpired term of such member* <br />~4~ Commission members shah, receive no compensation <br />but shall be reimbursed for duly authorized expenses. <br />~5~ Any vacancy in the commission shall be filled by <br />the council for the unexpired term of the predecessor in office. <br />Section 12. Section 2.331 of the Eugene Code, 1971 is amended <br />to read and provide: <br />2.331 Plannin Commiss.~on ~-~ Remo~ral. A pl~ann.ing co~unission <br />member may be re~ioved by the council, after hearing, <br />for misconduct or nonperformance of duty. <br />Section l3. Section 2.382 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended <br />to read and provide: <br />2.3 8 2 Downtown Deve lopn~en~t ~H~o~ard ~ Membership . The Downtown <br />Development D~oar~d shah. have eleven members, nine ar <br />mare of whom shall each be the proprietor, manager, or assist- <br />ant manager of a business with a sites in, carry on an occupa- <br />tion headquartered in, or own property in, th.e Downtown Develop- <br />ment District, and as such represent the persons and property <br />upon which at this time primarily rests the financial burden <br />of the program mentioned in section 2.3$1 of this code. The <br />mayor shall appoint each initial member- of the board in consul- <br />tation with the Eree Parking Committee of the Eugene Downtown <br />Association. Subsequent members shall be nominated by the <br />mayor and appointed by the council* In the appointments the <br />board shall be made as broadly representative as possible of <br />the various types of economic enterprise being carried on in <br />the Downtown Development District, <br />Section 14. Section 2.384 of the Eugene Code,. 1971 is amended <br />to read and provide: <br />2.384 Downtown D~e~relop~nent hoard '- vacancies. An office on <br />the Downtown Devel~apn~ent Hoard shall became vacant upon <br />its incumbent's death; resignation; or removal by the council, <br />after consultation with the board, for disability or inatten- <br />tion to the board's business. <br />Section 15. Section 2.404 of the Eugene Codes 1971 is amended <br />to read and provide: <br />2.404 Historic ~Reyi~ew ~B:oard ~~ Creat.on. ,fin historic review <br />board of seven members is hereby created, vot~.ng mem- <br />bers of the board shall be the director of the Zane County <br />ordinance - ll <br />
