ISy45 <br />~l} Subsection ~_1} thereof is amended to provide: <br />~l} Section 1302 fib} , entitled Grou R-1 - S ecial <br />Provisions, the first paragraph and exception are amended to <br />read: <br />- - - ~ i <br />fib} Special provisions. Group R-1 Gccupancies, <br />except apartment houses having more than three thousand <br />square feet ~3, 000 sq. ft. } o~ floor area above the first <br />f 1QOr shall be of not less than one-hour f ire-resistive <br />construction throughout. Tn apartment houses, dwelling <br />units shall be separated ~xom each other by a one-hour <br />fire-~resisti~e occupancy separation. <br />~2} Subsection ~4} thereof is amended to provide: <br />~4} Section 205 ~d~ ent~.tled Snow Load, is amended to <br />read: <br />The minimum snow-load capacity for a building shall be <br />20 pounds per square foot~at any ground elevation less than <br />S00 feet above sea le~rel and 25 pounds per square foot at any <br />ground elevation more than 800 feet above sea level. <br />t 3 } Subsection ~5 ~ thereof is deleted. <br />~ 4 } Subsection {.6 } is renumbered ~.5 } , and subparagraphs ~ a} , <br />fib} 4. , fib} 14 the first paragraph thereof } , fib} 15 are amended, and <br />a new subparagraph ~i} is added thereto,, to provide: <br />~5} Chapter 38 -~ Fire Ext~,nguishing S stems i,s <br />amended as follows: <br />~a} Section 3501 ~d}. Standards .~s amended to read <br />as follows : <br />Fire extinguishing systems shall comply with "Stan- <br />dard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems,~~ N.F.P.A. <br />#13-1975 adopted and copyrighted by the National Fire <br />Protection .Association. <br />~b~} Section 3802 ~:b}. , paragraph 4, is amended and <br />paragraphs l~, 14, and l5 are added: <br />4. Tn basements and cellars of more than <br />1500 square feet in floor area ~.n Group ~ and E <br />occupancies, and as required in section S»200 ~.7} <br />~g } of the Eugene Code , 19 71. <br />14.
