No permit for building <br />demol.~ti~on work shah. be issued to a person 'who has not <br />obtained a building demolition contractor's license as <br />required by Chapter 3 of the Eugene Code, 1971. <br />~.~~. Completion. The building demolition for <br />which a permit is issued shall be completed within 180 <br />days of the date of the permit. An extension of time <br />may be granted by the building official, provided the <br />demolition is progressing satisfactorily. <br />~r17~ A new section 310 - Moving Structures Procedures, <br />is added, to provide: <br />Section 310 -- Movin structures Procedures. <br />day Inspection. Upon payment of an inspection <br />fee as established by resolution of the council, the <br />building official shall inspect the house, building, <br />or other structure, and advise the applicant whether <br />or not the same can be moved in accordance with this <br />section. No moving permit shall be issued until the <br />building or structure has been so inspected. <br />~b~ Eond. The applicant shall,, upon filing the <br />application, pay to the city, for the use of the city <br />streets, the moving permit fee in the amount established <br />by resolution of the council, and shall also file with <br />the building official a sufficient bond ar cash deposit <br />in an amount determined necessary by the building offi- <br />cial, but in no case less than~$500. The applicant <br />shall certify that he/she will place the building or <br />structure, after moving the same, so as to meet the <br />following requirements; <br />1. The moved structure, including its foun- <br />dation, utility connections, additions, and alter- <br />. ations to the building at the new location, shall <br />co~aply with all the codes and ordinances of the <br />city relating to new construction. <br />2. The moved building shall be made to <br />comply with all the requirements of the applicable <br />city code including the housing code if the build- <br />ing is intended for a residerztial use. <br />3. The site improvements, including the <br />plans filed %n accordance with section 3l0 td~ , <br />shall be installed. <br />~, The precedi~.ng requirements shall be <br />completed within 180 days from the date of issu- <br />ance of the moving perm~i~t. <br />ordinance - 2Q <br />
