ATTACHMENT C <br />? <br /> FireMed Membership Policy Committee – <br /> Each of the three ground ambulance partners have two <br />seats on this committee. The committee meets once each year to review and change program policy <br /> <br />and to review the annual budget. <br />? <br /> Organizational Structure - <br />As a merged organization there would be 1 EMS Account Services <br />Supervisor and 1 Assistant Supervisor overseeing 11 ambulance billing personnel, with 1 Clerk for <br />administrative support. The Supervisor will report directly to the Administrative Services Bureau <br /> <br />Manager. <br />? <br /> Office Locations - <br />A combined Account Services Section operation would be located in available <br /> <br />space in Springfield City Hall. <br />? <br /> Compliance (HIPAA, SOP, POLICY/PROCEDURE) - <br />This would involve integrating all <br /> <br />compliance, HIPAA, SOP and Policy/Procedures if both cities were to merge. <br />? <br /> Records Management/Storage – o <br />Cnsolidation of electronic as well as paper records would <br /> <br />benefit both entities. <br />? <br /> IT (tech & software support) – <br />Consolidating both systems affords a more streamlined process and <br />will eliminate duplication of records and server space issues. Support for Zoll software would be <br />furnished with IT personnel already familiar with the Zoll database.
