Install an approved permanent marking system limiting and indicating the <br />maximum allowed storage height in the building or portion of the building <br />capable of high piled storage. <br />15. Section 2701.5.2 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />2701.5.2 Hazardous Materials Inventory Statement (HMIS). where required by the fire <br />code official, an application for a permit shall include an HMIS, such as SARA <br />(Superfimd Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986) Title III, Tier II <br />Report, or other approved statement. The HMIS shall include the following <br />information: <br />1. Manufacturer's name, product name, chemical name and trade names. <br />2. Hazard classification. <br />3. MS D S or equivalent. <br />4. United Nations (UN), North America (NA) or the Chemical Abstract <br />Service (CAS) identification number. <br />5. Maximum quantity stored or used on -site at one time, lbs. or gal. <br />6. Storage conditions related to the storage type, temperature and pressure. <br />7. State of material; gas, liquid or solid <br />8. Open and/or closed use <br />9. NF'PA 704 classification <br />10. Location of chemical stored and in bulk. use in building <br />17. Section 3301.1, of the OFC is amended to add: <br />3301.1 . . . . <br />Where the City Manager determines that a significant risk to public health, safety <br />and welfare exists, the City /Manager may, by administrative action, restrict the <br />storage, sales, use and handling of fireworks. <br />18. Subparagraph 5 of Section 3404.2.14.1, of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />3404.2.14.1 Removal. Removal of above - ground and underground tams shall be in <br />accordance with all of the following: <br />5. Tanks shall be purged of vapor and inerted prior to removal.
