T, Barnum Iron Works <br /> <br />sixteen btmks for tt%e City Jail at a cost of,$127.00. ~otion seconded and carried. <br /> <br />Street Co~mittee~ by Chair~pzn Mo~urphey r~eported that while the Co~].~ittee was <br /> <br />satisfied that the City. needed a flusher, that in tt~e interest of economy they had <br />decided to try and get along without it for the present. _. <br /> <br />P. ~{. %~i'lkins oD_ the P~rk Board stated that there was money in the Park F%md <br /> <br />which could be used for improvi~ the Oity Butte and that the P~rk Board would be <br /> <br />glad to go ahead with' the inprovement if ~uthorized by the City. R. ~{e~{urphey for said money advanced. The ayres and nays <br /> <br />were called; Councilmen voting aye t{ensil!, Koppe, ~le}lurphey, Doff, Bell and <br /> <br />Beytien, nay none, absent Johnson and Bean. Notion was declared carried and so <br /> <br />ordered. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance levying assessments for tl~e improvement of Charnelton Street <br /> <br />from O. & C. Railroad Co.'s Right-of-Way south to Eleventh Avenue in the City of Eugene <br /> <br />was read the second time, and a remonstrance of property o~mers on said street <br /> <br />against the manner of mssessing the eos~ of alley i~terseetions was read, and <br /> <br /> <br />
