Council was called to order by N~¥or Bell in special session pursuant to the foregoing call. Present Councilmen Parks, Polders, Koppe, Peterson, Goodpasture and Quimby; absent Devereaux and ~osher. The purpose of the Call was read. The~Sewer Committee recommended that the contract for a sewer p~ovided fop by Ordinance No. 1788 in Northeast Ek~gene be awarded to Stein Bros. in accordance with their bid; i~ appe~ri~ ths~ said bid is the lowest and best bid, and that ~ll other bids be ~eJeeted and cheeks ~eturned to unsuccessful bidders, and the l~(a~or and Recorder authorized to si~ the contract with Stein Bros. in behalf of the City. Notion was made, seconded and carried to adopt the reco~endation of the Sewer Co~ittee. Tt~e Fiance Committee reported arra~ements for placi~ insurance of the Oity Hall Buildi~, and the matter was 'left In their ~nds for com- pletion. On motion the Council adjourned. City Recorder.
