Petition Fo~ street light at Second ~nd Wmshi~ton Street intersection was ~,efe~red to the Fire & Wate~ Committee. Report from the Street Co~ttee reco~endi~ that the petition of Bertha S. Rolfe, et al for the vacation of alley in Block ."~", Skimle~s' Donation, be denied was ~ead, a~l on motion seconded and ea~-ried adopted. At tttis time Co,clean Bell appeared in ~o~eil. Report of the Viewers on the openi~ and extension of Tenth Avenue West from Van B~en Street West ll~ feet was ~-ead and laid ove~, and the Reeo~de~ instructed to give notice of the time fo~ hea~ing of said ~epo~t. Recommendation of the Fire & Wate~ Committee that E. V~att~ be permitted to re-shi~le the roof of his building at 9~ Oak Street was on motion adopted. The followl~ bills were p~esented fo~ pa~ent: R.
