Council Chambers, Eugene, Oregon, 0etober 22, 1917. <br /> <br /> Council met pursuant to adjournment of October 15th, and was called <br />to order by Mayor Peterson. Present Councilmen Polders, Parks, Koppe, <br />Spencer, Devereaux add Nosher; absent Goodpasture and Spangler. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance adopting and approving the plans a~l specifications of <br />the City Engineer for the improvement of Potter Street from 25th Avenue south <br />to the south side of 28th Avenue, and 28th Avenue from Potter Street east <br />to the west line of University Street in the City of Eugene by grading and <br />macadamizing the same was read and passed its second and third readings by <br />title upon unanimous consent under suspension of the ~ule and was placed upon <br />its final passage. Councilmen voting aye 6, nay none; absent Goodpasture <br />and Spangler. The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered #1911$. <br /> <br /> The Street Co~nittee reported that the County Court had offered te <br />put the grade of Franklin Street in shape from 8th Avenue east to the City <br />bimits if the City would g~avel the same, and this matter was ~eferred to the <br />Street Committee and City Attorney with power 'to act. <br /> <br /> Motion was made, seconded and carried that the Council adjourn to <br />meet November 5, 1917, at 7:30 o'clock P.
