On motion, the following resolution was offered, and unanimously adopted: ~ ES 0 LU T I Be It Resolved, by the Common Co~cl! of the City of D~gene, that the City of Eugene, construct a sewer on the North side of llth Avenue from the alley East of Willamette St. to the alley west of Willamette St. in th~ City of ~gene. Oregon. ~e It ~urther l~esolV~l, that the City Engineer immediately prepare plans and specifications ,fbr~.~suchi lmpr,~vement work, and the City ~ecorder advertise for bids for such improvement work. Be It Further Resolved, that th~ said work be done by the City ami that the same be paid fo~ from the Trunk Sewer ~und. Chairman Wllllamsom of the Sewer Com~nlttee asked for the purchase of about 450 feet of ~/8 steel cable and a B.B. hoist and a winch to be used in removing roots from sewers. On motion such request was granted. Councilman Williamsoa also reported he is not.. ~et ready to pass on the Tallaferro claim. .
