A petition was filed to fix Almaden Street at the corner of 6th Avenue where it needs a few loads of gravel. Said matter was referred to the Road and StReet Committee. . The following Resolution was offered and ~manlmously adopted: R ES 0 L U T I 0'N~ WheReas h~retofore and on March 1~1926, the Con,men Council of the City of Eagene, passed Ordinance No. 522% to grade and gravel the alley between University an~ Onyx Streets From 21st to 22nd Avenues and on May 10,1926, passed Assessment Ordinance No. 5334~ covering the above work and assessing Lots 7 and 8, Block 24, Gross Addition, twenty three dollars ~d thirty elght cents (23.~8) each in the n~e of L~e County Investment Co., whleh ~ount was re-assessed in like manner by 0rdlaanee No. 5667, passed November 22,1926. And Whereas, the west 90 feet of I~t 7, and th~ west 90 feet of the south half of Lot $, wa~ donveyed to C.l. Eelly in october of 1925, and the deed therefor plac- ed of record'on the Lane County Deed Records, therefore, . BE IT ~E~.0LVED_ by the Common Council of the'City of Ehgene, that the west 90 feet of Lot 7, and the westgo feet~ of the south half of Lot 8, Block 24, Gross Addition be and the same is hereby relieved from the lien of any portion of said assessment, and said assessments be an~ they are hereby declared to be a line upon the ~emaining portion of ,said le~, the obJec~ df'this resolution being to apportion the assessments upon the portion of said lots liable therefor.
