Lee and all, members of the Council exoep't Washburne and~Hendershott, who were absent, Meeting% called to order by the Mayor. ~ ~ 0rdin~e~ to improve 6th '~enue f~o~ Blair Blvd. to the ~est City Limits ~y paving the s~e with either pLain concrete, vibrolithie concrete $~ smphaltie concrete on crushed gravel base, 5" asphaltic conorete with 4" crushed rook base and Wa~renlte-bithullthie pavement and repealing 0~di- hanes No. 5504, by re~ the first t~e and_p~sed its second and ~,hlrd re~- lngs by title by un,inCus consent un,er suspension of the m[s and was placed ertl ts final passage. The ayes and nays were called, all present vot- ing aye. Nay none. The 0rdinsnce w~s declared passed and numbered 5319. An 0rdinanee approving and adopting the plans and specifications of the City Engineer for the improvement of 6th Avenue from Blair Blvd. West to the City Limits by paving the sene with either plain concrete, vi~rell~,hlc concrete, 6" asphaltic concrete on crushed gravel base, 5" asphaltic concrete ~lth 4" crushed rook base and Warrenlte-bithulithle pavement and repealing Ordinance No. 5305, was read the first time and passed its second and third readings by title by unanimous consent under suspension of the m~le and was'placed on its final passage. The ayes and nays were called, all present v,)ting .aye. nay mae. The 0rd lnance was declared passed and n~unbsred 5320. The matter oP the action of the council of April 12,1926, in which the salary of Nellie Elllott aa an employee of the 5h~ineer's office was raised from $80.00 to $15~.00 to start April 1,1926, was, on motlon~ ~ee~n~.Piered and, the foremr action of the, council in raising such salary was una.nlmously r ese ind ed. .
