The five (5) day exempt vacation benefit is partial compensation for time spent <br />planning, organizing or scheduling work activities or other administrative duties <br />including meeting time. <br />D. Certain police and fire supervisory classifications are eligible for five (5) days exempt <br />vacation plus paid overtime at 1.5:1. The overtime benefit is to be used when the <br />supervisor must be available for team- related duties such as crime investigations <br />and responding to emergencies; routine supervisory duties such as paperwork and <br />preparing for briefings and accounted for with the exempt vacation benefit. In the <br />event these supervisors are required to appear in court on a day off, they will receive <br />a minimum of three (3) hours overtime. <br />E. Employees who fill managerial positions are eligible fo exempt vacation benefit <br />of ten (10) days per year.
