2. The employee shall send a copy of the request to Risk Services. <br />3. Risk Services shall conduct an investigation and report the findings to the <br />City Attorney, along with a recommendation regarding disposition of the <br />request <br />4. The City Attorney shall accept or reject the request. The City Attorney <br />shall notify the employee and Risk Services as to the disposition of the <br />request. <br />5. If the request is accepted, the City Attorney s 'II assign the matter to <br />defense counsel to appear and defend on b of the employee when <br />appropriate. <br />Subject to prior approval, Risk Services may <br />reasonable, incidental out -of- pocket expense <br />of a lawsuit. <br />as a <br />B.
