In addition, any City employee having knowledge of a violent act <br />committed in the workplace y any other City employee must also report the incident, as <br />outlined below. <br />(NOTE: Emergency services personnel are often exposed to situations that involve <br />violence. These guidelines are not meant to be applied to emergency personnel in the <br />course of their interactions during an emergency or enforcement response. Police <br />Department and Fire /EMS Department policies and standard operating procedures <br />apply in those situations.) <br />Supervisors and managers have additional responsibility to: <br />A.
