The written at ion he doctor may be obtained up to fourteen days <br />retroactively. ` <br />If, during the 180 day pee the employee is released by his /her doctor to return to <br />work part time, the hours�worked would be coded to LDJ (light duty for on-the-job injury) <br />and the rest of the hours would be coded to OTJ. <br />Time away from work to seek medical treatment (MTJ) <br />Employees with compensabee workers' compensation claims are entitled to <br />compensation for reasonable time away from work to seek medical services that are <br />covered under their claim. The time away is coded to MTJ. However, the preference is <br />that the employee seek treatment during his /her non -work time. Visits to medical <br />providers during non -work time are not compensated by the City.
