Em to ees a <br />Part -time employe, 11 1�l,#gular employees who work at least 20 hours, but less than <br />40 hours, per week <br />Job-Share Employees (Part-Tine Employees) <br />Employees who job -sh`ae are part-time employees. Job - sharing is defined as the <br />sharing of a full -time loby�two individuals on an equal basis. Sharing the job on an <br />equal basis has two meanings. First, each partner must have, or be capable of having, <br />all the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job. Second, the partners must <br />divide the required working hours equally within a pay period, with exceptions only in <br />special circumstances. For more specifics, refer to Job -Share Positions and Regular <br />and Flexible /Alternative Work Schedules policies. <br />Temporary Employees <br />Temporary employees fill positions for which there is no expectation of on -going funding <br />or for which there is no expectation of continued employment, or those who routinely <br />work less than 20 hours per week or 1,040 hours per year. Temporary employment is <br />usually tied to the accomplishment of a specific function(s) which occurs within a, <br />specified time period (seasonal employment, special projects, temporary fill -in for <br />
