Career Development Contacts <br />Role Serve as a department contact and initial resource for the <br />CDAP. Contacts offer employees an informal opportunity <br />to team about the program prior to contacting a <br />supervisor or HRRS staff. <br />Responsibilities • Be familiar with and supportive of the program. <br />+ Provide general program information to employees. <br />Have ready access to a PC to ensure materials are <br />easily available to employees. <br />• Answer basic questions about the program. <br />• Assess general career development needs of <br />employees and make appropriate referrals to MRS <br />staff the EAP, and/or other employees who have <br />accessed the program. <br />Communicate effectively with employees and <br />maintain confidentiality. <br />• Ask HRRS staff for assistance beyond general <br />program information and questions. <br />(Mbooklet 11199) 20 <br />
