Interference with Policy <br />Any activity which purposely interferes with the City's policy on the use of drugs and <br />alcohol will be grounds for disciplinary action which may include discharge. Examples <br />include, but are not limited to, the following: tainting, tampering, or substitution of blood <br />or urine samples; falsifying information regarding the use of prescribed medications or <br />controlled substances; failure to cooperate with any tests outlined in this policy to <br />determine the presence of drugs or alcohol; or failure to consent to or cooperate with <br />any administrative searches. <br />Employee Rights <br />A. Any disciplinary action taken as a result of violation this policy will be in <br />accordance with the language contained in the Emp �I � andbook under the <br />section "Disciplinary Process ". 1 Ili,II'''llio• <br />B. Drug and alcohol testing records will be handled in accordance with all applicable <br />laws of the State of Oregon. All documentation on the testing will be maintained <br />in a secured file in Risk Services.
