Overtime for Union - Represented Employees <br />For specific overtime provisions, as well as call -back pay, see the appropriate union <br />contract. <br />Overtime Approvals <br />All FLSA covered employees must have their supervisor's approval before working <br />overtime. <br />Extraordinary Overtime <br />The extraordinary overtime benefit is designed to compensate those exempt employees <br />whose positions demand substantial overtime. <br />The extraordinary overtime benefit is authorized by the e 9 ve manager in <br />consideration of the additional hours worked by an exempt' IIh yee that are <br />uncompensated hours.
