PHASE II SUSTAINABILITY BASELINE ASSESSMENT <br />Task 2.0 Sustainability Assessment: Public Engagement <br />Task 2.1 Framework <br /> Purpose To develop a framework for assessing current public engagement <br />activities within the region, focusing on access and participation <br />levels of typically underrepresented groups and individuals. <br /> Goal(s) Equitable public engagement strategies and outcomes. <br /> <br /> <br /> Activities Consortium meeting(s), research, draft framework for review and <br />comment, final framework documentation. <br /> Public Info/Invo Seek input from key stakeholder groups (public involvement <br />practitioners, human rights organizations, human services <br />providers, minorities, other. <br /> Products Public engagement assessment framework (draft and final) <br /> <br /> <br /> Lead Agency/Staff LCOG Project Management Team (PMT) <br /> Other Participants Consortium members (social services, human rights, equity, and <br />public involvement focus) <br /> Timing First 3-6 months. <br />Task 2.2 Assess Existing Programs <br /> Purpose To assess current public engagement activities within the region, <br />focusing on access and participation levels of typically <br />underrepresented groups and individuals. To identify <br />commonalties among jurisdictional programs, individual <br />jurisdictional initiatives which can have regional utility and areas for <br />improvement. Develop new and/or expanded public engagement <br />tools, materials and processes based upon results of evaluation. <br /> Goal(s) Equitable public engagement strategies and outcomes. <br /> <br /> <br /> Activities Inventory and assess existing public engagement programs, <br />activities, and policies within Consortium agencies and regionally. <br /> Public Info/Invo Engage key stakeholders in evaluation process, review and <br />discussion of findings, draft recommendations for improvements. <br /> Products Program Inventory <br /> <br /> <br />Program Assessment(s) <br /> <br /> <br />Draft Assessment document for review and comment <br /> <br /> <br />Final Public Engagement Assessment <br /> <br /> <br />New, revised and/or expanded public engagement tools, <br /> <br /> <br />materials, and processes. <br />Toolkit #1: Sustainability in Public Outreach <br /> <br /> <br /> Lead Agency/Staff LCOGProject Management Team (PMT) <br /> Other Participants Consortium members and identified partners/stakeholders (social <br />services, human rights, equity, and public involvement focus) <br /> Timing Months 6-12 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Lane Livability Consortium 9 <br />
