9. (Page 27 - Sheldon Subarea) Policy # 9 is missing the phrase that pro- <br />vides for recognition of the area as appropriate for commercial develop- <br />ment. The policy is also missing the proposed action that would trigger <br />a Metro Plan amendment. Change the policy, and add a corresponding <br />Proposed Action, as indicated below: <br />"9. The City shall recognize the area on the north side of Cal <br />Young Road, west of Sheldon Plaza (tax lots 4412 and 4413 and <br />the easterly portion of 4409 -- Assessors Map 17- 03- 20 -10) as <br />depicted on the Willakenzie Land use Diagram, and as refined <br />by Inset Map A, <is> as being appropriate for commercial de- <br />velopment and shall further recognize that those parcels be <br />limited to General Office zoning. <br />9.1 Amend the Metro Plan Diagram from a medium density resi- <br />dential to a commercial designation for the above- refer- <br />enced area." <br />10. (Page 27 - Sheldon Subarea) Policy # 10 is missing the same phrase and <br />proposed action which would recognize the subject lots as commercial and <br />trigger a Metro Plan amendment to a commercial designation. Change the <br />policy, and add the corresponding Proposed Action, as indicated below: <br />"10. The City shall recognize the area on the south side of <br />Willakenzie Road, west of Sheldon Plaza (tax lots 4400 and <br />4411 -- Assessor's Map 17- 03- 20 -10) as depicted on the <br />Willakenzie Land Use Diagram, and as refined by Inset Map A, <br /><is> as being appropriate for commercial development and shall <br />further recognize that those parcels be limited to Neighbor- <br />rciai zoning. <br />10.1 Amend the Metro Plan from a medium density residential to <br />a commercial designation in the above - referenced area." <br />11. (Page 30 - Harlow Subarea) Delete the reference to the tax lots in <br />Policy #3 so that the policy reads as follows: <br />"3. The City shall recognize that the area on the east side of <br />Coburg Road and east of the Chambers Communication commercial <br />parcels <tax lots 11900, 12000, 12100, and 12200 -- Assessor's <br />Map 17- 03- 16 -33> shall be considered appropriate for low -den- <br />sity residential development." <br />12. (Page 31 - Oakway Subarea) Delete the phrase "The City should" from <br />Proposed Action 3.1. <br />"3.1 <The City should> Apply the SR Site Review suffix to all <br />parcels having frontage on Oakway Road between Eastwood Lane <br />and Fairway Loop to address compatibility and access con- <br />cerns." <br />-3- <br />
